Jason Slade

Jason was born and raised in Adelaide where he developed a keen interest in the food industry. From an early age he aspired to be a chef, but it was not until the family moved to Queensland when Jason was 15 that he was able to live his dream. He studied at COTAH (College of Tourism and Hospitality) where he was (to that time) the youngest applicant to ever be accepted.
Jason has been highly influenced by French and Asian cuisines, which is apparent in his food style. As well as being a chef, Jason has owned and run several restaurants including Misty’s (Montville), Verandah’s (Forest Glen) and Salt ‘n’ Pepper (Mooloolaba). Jason is Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager of Madissons Restaurant + Bar.
